“I have no motivation today.”
Whatever the reason, it’s frustrating. What’s worse is when you think there is something wrong with you for feeling this way in the first place.
We’re all human. It’s completely normal to be unmotivated at times. But if left unattended, these feelings can snowball into a much bigger problem.
Motivation is not magic.
It’s not something that comes in a bottle or something we can order off Amazon. Most of us think of motivation as this mythical quality we need to “find.” Something that we need to gather before we take action.
Here’s the truth: Motivation doesn’t precede action. Action precedes motivation.
The easiest way to get motivated is to just start doing something.
“But, how can I do that if I’m just not motivated?” I get this question a lot.
