Simple, Concise, and Consumable

As we closed out 2020, one of my students in my Self 2.0 Leadership Development program asked: “How can I plan for the year ahead?”

This is a challenge we’re all facing this year. So much has changed in the last 12 months. As a result, many people have been wondering about the year ahead. Are things going to stay the same for the foreseeable future? Will things be different? If so, when? Never before has there been so much uncertainty.

If we don’t know where we are going, how will we know when we get there?

Planning for the year ahead is part of every leader’s role. This year, don’t overcomplicate that process.

Instead, choose to be different.

Make a conscious choice to be simple, concise, and consumable. As you reflect on the year ahead, I encourage you to dedicate some quiet time and answer the three thought-provoking questions I share in this video: Check it out, they reinforce the power of simplicity.
