Promise me this, today you will think about what I have taught you concerning leadership.

Your job, as a leader, is to serve as an inspiring ambassador to those who follow you. 

Whether you realize it or not, every leader is being watched.  You are being watched. Your team observes what you say and what you fail to say. They notice how you say it, the tone or body language you use, and how you treat others.

The days ahead will be a test for us all.

Regardless of what happens today or in the coming days, I ask that you “show up” as the LEADER others are expecting. 

None of us can say what the future holds. But you can choose to lead. Empathy, compassion, and authentic support demonstrates that you care—which is the balm every leader can apply to the nerves of their team.

I encourage you to give your team some extra love this week. Show them how much you care about them, and remind them that they too, have a purpose. Others are counting on them like they are counting on you.

Remind yourself that being a leader is a choice you make everyday. You have a responsibility to be a role model for your team. Let that be your legacy!
