Better Questions, Better Answers

The better your questions, the better your answers. 

Most leaders think it’s best to tell others what to do.

Effective leaders, on the other hand, ask good questions.

Good questions are often far more powerful than answers. Good questions:

  • Challenge assumptions and limiting beliefs.
  • Build rapport and create connections.
  • Help your team develop critical thinking skills.

Mastering the art of questions will make you a better leader, coach, and mentor. This requires two leadership skills: First, you must know what questions to ask, as all questions are not created equal. Second, you must know how to ask them.
