LXU develops leaders who develop leadership.

We believe every leader is a teacher and to be a great teacher, one must become a great student. We believe leaders are paid to get results–results matter. To achieve results, a leader has to master leading others–being able to authentically communicate and influence others to act. We believe leaders are role models and no leader can effectively lead others unless they first learn to lead themselves. We believe if you can’t lead yourself, you can’t lead.

LXU provides leadership and business growth tools that accelerate individual and team development. Our training programs help leaders find their focus – their X – that they need to work on or work through to grow and empower their team, their business, and their life.

Clarity Focus Discipline

What's your X?

Deep inside, most people know something needs to change - both personally and professionally - but they struggle to define exactly what it is and how to change it. This is your “X” - your personal desire or challenge that keeps you up at night. LXU programs, coaching, and workshops are designed to help you identify your X and then tackle it with clarity, focus, and discipline to improve your productivity and happiness.

As the founder of Leadership X University, Jim Riviello is a speaker, team development coach, and author of There Must Be a Better Way and Rivelations for Business Professionals. LXU stems from his belief that in order to be a better teacher and leader, we must become a constant student. All LXU programs, workshops, and coaching pull from Jim’s experience – he’s been in your shoes and shares the real, personal lessons he’s learned along the way.

A family man, sports aficionado, and former basketball coach, Jim loves the feeling you get when you sit down at the beach with a glass of wine in one hand and a journal in the other. If you’re wondering, how can you recreate that peace of mind in your everyday life? Schedule an introductory LXU call with Jim or one of his coaches.

As an LXU Inner Circle coach, Jacquelyn Nicholson grew up in a small town, went on to engineering school at the University of Illinois, and became a top sales professional well-versed in incubating and growing new business units and helping others do the same. Later on, she took her experiences from business, education, and life and applied them to her passions for wine, relationships, and inspiring others.

An avid hockey fan, Jacquelyn can usually be found watching her Chicago Blackhawks, either live or recorded. She also enjoys running, hiking, and supporting the Chicago Cubs, The Anthony Rizzo Family Foundation, and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Jacquelyn and her husband have two children, three dogs, and a wine cellar, living a peaceful life in northern Sonoma County. There Must Be a Better Way is a story about meaningful change. So many times we get caught up thinking things or situations are bad, when in reality, they are all good. Jim reveals the little, everyday decisions we all make that will either move us closer to the life we desire or take us off the beaten path, making it harder to find our way.

Rivelations for Business Professionals explodes personal misconceptions that hold you back from achieving your goals and reveals simple steps you can take to develop sustainable habits that will increase productivity, performance, and profits for yourself and those you lead.
