Old You, New You

Leaders don’t live in the past.

You are not what you did yesterday, what you said yesterday, what you thought yesterday.

Separate yourself from any former ideas about who you were. That is the “Old You.”

But rememberLeaders don’t seek to forget their past, they seek to change their future.

The worst thing you could do is forget your past. Your past contains a wonderful library of lessons. Don’t pretend that it doesn’t matter. Rather, acknowledge that it does matter—and because it does, you are making a conscious decision not to repeat certain behaviors that didn’t serve you well or bask in the glory of previous accomplishments.

Letting go of your past does not mean forgetting it. It simply means that you refuse to hold onto it.

Today is a new beginningan invitation to create the NEW YOU!

This is an opportunity to become the person you truly want to be.

Unsure of what that looks like?
