If you’re hiring the right people, you will have a lot of smart people. Smart people are going to disagree with each other. I love healthy debates and analytical discussions. Having a difference of opinion is a key ingredient in developing the right strategies.
At the same time, as leaders, we have a responsibility to move the business forward and make decisions. At some point, leaders are tasked with making a decision and getting others to rally around that decision—regardless of whether they agreed with it or not.
